Systems Warranty and Return policy
WARRANTY
This
is not intended to be a legal document. It sets forth our guidelines for
warranty. We are flexible in its implementation, and want to keep the
interests of our customers foremost, to do the right thing as much as
possible.
All
items sold, with the exception of items that are clearly represented to
be "used", "as is", or specify a different warranty
period, are covered for one year by our exchange or repair warranty. We
will repair the defective item or exchange it, at our option.
During
the first 30 days, the item will be exchanged. If the item is no longer
available to us, it will be exchanged with an item of equal or greater
value.
After
the first 30 days we will decide, with our customers input, the best course
of action:
-
repair (item will be returned repaired)
- exchange
(item will be exchanged with same, equal, or better item, at our option)
In
general, most items will simply be exchanged as repair is really not an
option. Some mechanical items such as hard drives may be repairable, and
these we would want to send to the factory for factory repair or exchange.
RETURNS
There
are several possible reasons for returns. As with our warranty, we again
wish to have a policy of doing the right thing.
We
will accept a return for exchange during the first 30 days for any item
that doesn't perform to our stated specifications, either as set forth
on our web page, in the manufacturer's literature, or verbally at the
time of sale.
If
you feel that the product has been mis-represented to you in any way,
you are eligible for a full refund.
If
you find after ordering the item you find that you have ordered the wrong
item, we will accept it back for exchange (as long as it is in original
packaging or there is no damage)--though a restocking fee of 15% may be
charged.
We
accept memory, CPUs, and hard drives back for exchange only, not for refund.
